Jun Fang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2003 and 2006, respectively. And he received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from Tsinghua University in 2013. He joined the School of Information and Software Engineering (SISE) at UESTC in 2013. After that he spent one year in EECS department at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as a visiting scholar in 2018. He is currently a assistant professor at the SISE. His research interests include the Crowd and Multi-agent Simulation, Pedestrian and Traffic Dynamics and Computational Swarm Intelligence. He has published several journal and conference papers in Physica A, Communications in Theoretical Physics, International Journal of Modern Physics C, etc. He is presiding over a project supported by the Fundamental Research Funds for Central Universities （ZYGX2013J075）. Besides, he has been involved in a research plan for interdisciplinary development of UESTC (Y03111023901014007) and a national natural science fund of China (NSFC-61503059).
